Klosterman on "Chinese Democracy"

I am Skeptical with a capital "S" about Chinese Democracy, an album I have patiently waited for since I bought both Use Your Illusions the day they went on sale in September 1991. That said, Chuck Klosterman's review is very positive (and brilliant in its own right).

Suffice to say, I will be at Best Buy on Sunday when it comes out.

Commander in Chief?

So, like most of you, I voted today. However, unlike most of you, I had the honor of voting on Proposition R. In case you are not a San Francisco resident, Prop R is an ordinance to "rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the 'George W. Bush Sewage Plant.'"

Apparently, the sponsors claim that passing Proposition R would turn "every toilet in San Francisco into basically a shrine for George W. Bush and all his great achievements in his eight years as our commander in chief. [sic] [k]"

I am proud to do my part to invoke change.
